The saga of La Bête Noire continues — and this time, the beast comes alive. Literally.

mockART proudly presents La Bête Noire (Alive), a raw and electrifying live recording captured on September 8, 2024, at Atelierhaus Orber Straße in Frankfurt. That night, the band’s lineup featured Christoph Dorner, Ümit Kaya, and rabirius, delivering a powerful performance that brought the beast to life in front of an intimate audience.

This new release includes La Bête Noire (Alive) as well as a live version of Kör Adamın Gazeli, a track originally from Men Who Lost Their Heads. While unrelated to La Bête Noire, it was part of the same unforgettable night and complements the energy of the set.

The single is available now on all major streaming platforms and as a digital download.

But that’s not all: La Bête Noire (Alive) is also a preview of what’s to come. It will feature on the upcoming remix album, dropping June 20, 2025 — an entire release dedicated to remixes of this ever-evolving track.

And there’s more on the horizon: the rest of the live performance from that night is in the works and scheduled for release later this year, likely in autumn. A rough mix already exists, but it still needs some final touches before it’s ready to be unleashed.

We’re excited to announce the next chapter in the La Bête Noire remix series, continuing the journey of this enigmatic track from our album Reflux Ux Bisou. This time, the beast doesn’t just think about leaving its grotto—it steps out into the night, roaming the town and even taking a spin on the dance floor.

These latest releases feature two thrilling collaborations. La Bête Noire rôde dans la ville is a remix by Urhixidur, who previously wowed us with their take on The Takeover. They return to add their distinctive flair, capturing the essence of a beast on the prowl. Meanwhile, La Bête Noire danse, remixed by Ubaldo, takes the energy up a notch, translating the beast’s newfound freedom into a dynamic, danceable rhythm.

These tracks build on the success of our earlier remixes, La Bête Noire dans sa grotte by Pharmakustik and La Bête Noire pense à quitter sa grotte by Baco_Giovanni Cristino. Each remix breathes fresh life into La Bête Noire, offering listeners a new perspective on the track’s evolving narrative.

The windy season is upon us. And Halloween is at the door. Therefore we decided to release a windy and ghostly track to get you in the right mood.

Our new track The Wind Is Still Whispering is sort of an extended version of the track The Whispering Wind which was release on the compilation One Minute Compositions Vol. 4. As the name of the compilation suggests, the original version is only one minute long. After completing the track, we wanted to see if the track was still interesting in a longer version and therefore we extended it and release it as a single in time for Halloween.

This time we also added a B-side to the package. Baker, Koji Je U Tijestu? is a track we recorded some time ago and we felt that it doesn’t fit any of our current projects, but it was a right fit to release it with The Wind Is Still Whispering.

What happens when a park comes to life?

Certainly, we see people walking, running, playing, arguing, phoning, meeting each other…

We see how the seasons change. Fresh greens emerge in spring. Dry lawns in summer. There is an explosion of colours in autumn. And in winter, everything looks somewhat naked, maybe covered in snow.

But have you really observed what happens in the park? All the little details?

Well, now you can, because we made a video to show you real Parklife.

Parklife also is our new singe. Well, not the original Parklife you have heard on our latest album views | interrupted. The new Parklife is the Whispered Remix by Stéphane K. Vandezande. So you are getting a new song and a new video!

We are currently working with some artists on a remix album with tracks taken from views | interrupted. The first remix of Between Towers is nearly a trippy pop song and we want to introduce it to you as a single. So don’t get trapped between the towers.

As always, we released the single to all the major streaming platforms and we also made a video clip for the track. You will find all the relevant links in the streaming section.

The remix was done by me (rabirius). I thought about the bass line that we used in the original version and build the remix from that.

We will release a further remix in early January, so stay tuned!

Last but not least we decided to release Schwarzer Mantel as a single. The track features Bernd Geiling on vocals and was remixed to show other aspects of the track. We also released an instrumental version as a b-side. There also is a video directed by rabirius.
